Walk of Witness 2013-3pm at St James Cathedral for prayer

The Walk of Witness is an annual event that marks the commencement of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. As in previous years, we gather at St James Cathedral for prayer and then walk to Central Uniting, St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and the Council Building for more prayer and worship until we eventually arrive at Sacred Heart Cathedral for closing prayer and refreshments - and this year, a special olive tree planting honouring Bishop Michael Putney. This growing event is sponsored by the Combined Churches of Townsville and is a witness to the community of our common faith in Jesus Christ.
